AI Assistant
Where you interact with our AI Assistant, we process personal data in order to understand your query and provide an accurate, personalised response.
What we process?
In connection with the AI Assistant we may process: the content of your messages, including anything you choose to type or upload; your interaction history and any earlier conversations, so that context is retained across a conversation and between conversations; information you have already provided to us, including your name, contact details and profile information; and information we hold about your credit position, including credit report and credit score data, account and tradeline details, account status, overdue amounts and repayment history. Some of this information is provided to the AI Assistant automatically, before or during your conversation, so that it can respond accurately to your specific situation without requiring you to repeat it.
Why?
To respond to your queries; to provide personalised guidance in relation to your credit position; to draft correspondence at your request; to route your query to the appropriate team; to maintain a record of our interactions with you; to investigate complaints and grievances; and to monitor and improve the accuracy, safety and quality of the AI Assistant.
Sub-processors and model providers
The AI Assistant is built on artificial intelligence technology provided by third-party service providers. Where we use such a provider, your data is disclosed to that provider solely for the purpose of generating a response to you and on the basis of contractual terms which restrict its use of that data to that purpose. Such providers act as our processors and are not permitted to use your personal data for their own purposes. We do not instruct, and will not instruct, any such provider to use your personal data to train its general-purpose models. Where such a provider processes data outside India, that transfer is made in accordance with applicable law.
Human review
Conversations with the AI Assistant may be reviewed by our authorised personnel for the purposes of quality assurance, safety monitoring, complaint investigation, training our staff and improving the service. Access is limited to personnel who require it for those purposes.
Use for improvement of the AI Assistant
With your consent, we may use conversation data to evaluate and improve the AI Assistant. Where we do so, we take reasonable steps to remove or mask direct identifiers. You may withdraw that consent at any time, using the controls in the application or by contacting us, without affecting your ability to use the AI Assistant.
After your conversation ends
When a conversation ends, the transcript is stored against your account for the retention period stated in the Retention section below. It may be: read by our authorised personnel if you escalate, complain, or ask a question that requires the earlier context; used to provide continuity if you return, so that you do not have to repeat your situation; and summarised into your account record so that our teams can assist you consistently. Transcript content is not disclosed to any lender. Where you have authorised us to negotiate on your behalf, only the information described in your settlement consent — not your conversation transcript — is shared with the lender. You may ask us to delete a specific conversation, or to stop retaining context between conversations, using the controls in the application or by contacting us; where you do, the AI Assistant will no longer have the benefit of that earlier context and you may need to provide the information again.
Automated decision-making
The AI Assistant provides information and guidance. It does not make decisions about your eligibility for any product, about your credit score, or about the acceptance of any settlement or waiver. Such matters are determined by the relevant lender or credit information company, and settlement and waiver requests are handled by our human representatives. See §12 of our Terms of Service.
Your choices
You are not required to use the AI Assistant and may request a human representative at any point. Please do not share information with the AI Assistant that is not necessary for your query — in particular, do not share passwords, full card numbers, one-time passwords, banking credentials or the personal data of other individuals. Your rights in relation to your personal data, including access, correction, erasure, nomination and grievance redressal, are set out in the “Your rights” section of this Policy and apply equally to data processed in connection with the AI Assistant. You may withdraw your consent to the processing described in this section as easily as you gave it, by using the controls in the application or by contacting our Grievance Officer; if you do, we will stop providing the AI Assistant to you, and this will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We share your personal information outside the Company only in the limited circumstances described below.
In this regard, you hereby provide consent to share your personal information with third parties in limited circumstances, including:
1. with your consent; or
2. to a processor acting on our instructions, who meets our data protection standards, and only for the purposes described in this Policy; or
3. When we have a good faith belief it is required by law, such as pursuant to a legal process.
4. To authorized credit bureaus (e.g., CRIF High Mark) for pulling your CIR with consent.
5. To BBPS/NPCI-authorized bill payment processors when you initiate a payment
6. To third-party service providers such as Acadian Technologies Private Limited (“VSPAGY”), solely for generating personalized user insights and video-based explanations, based on explicit user consent.
7. To your lenders, and to any recovery agent, asset reconstruction company or agency acting for them, where you have authorised us to negotiate a settlement or waiver on your behalf — limited to the information described in §11 of our Terms of Service, and only for the account you have specified. Your AI Assistant conversation transcripts are not disclosed to lenders.
8. To third-party providers of artificial intelligence services, including large language model providers, solely to generate responses to your queries through the AI Assistant — on the terms described in the AI Assistant section above.
We share personal data with third parties only after obtaining explicit user consent, except where required by law.
